Intercultural Summer Camp
The intercultural youngCaritas summer camp is a one-week holiday camp for refugees – especially unaccompanied minors – and for Swiss teenagers. The camp promotes integration and aims to fill the school-free summer break with fun, activities and interaction with other young people. Fear of contact can be overcome on both sides and new friendships can be forged. The camp leaders are young volunteers, often former camp participants themselves. They can strengthen their voluntary commitment and develop transcultural skills. youngCaritas aims to contribution to positive change in Switzerland with this programme.
